This unique gallery is designed to resemble a state-of-the-art forensics laboratory. Vials, facsimiles of body parts, and stainless-steel work surfaces surround a flat-panel monitor that displays images from the million-dollar forensic investigation, conducted from 2003 to 2005, which resulted in the foundation of George Washington’s three life-sized figures. Visitors can watch a History Channel film that describes the scientific process involved in creating the figures based on an anthropological study, historical research, and artistic interpretation.
